Smart Traffic Signal Priority for Emergency Response

The Emergency Vehicle Traffic Signal Priority System is a next-generation intelligent traffic control solution developed for smart cities, municipalities, highway authorities, airports, industrial campuses, and large institutions.

The system consists of a wireless transmitter installed inside authorized emergency vehicles and a receiver unit integrated with traffic signal controllers. When an emergency vehicle enters the predefined detection range, the receiver instantly recognizes the authenticated signal and automatically grants traffic priority by switching the appropriate traffic light to green while holding conflicting traffic at red. Once the emergency vehicle safely passes through the intersection, the traffic signals automatically return to their normal operating sequence.
